Barbells

The key differences are load capacity and aesthetics.

  • Load capacity is how much weight the bar can safely handle.
    • 2.0 supports up to 500 kg on the 20 kg bar and 400 kg on the 15 kg bar.
    • 2.1 increases strength and finish quality.
    • 2.2 WOD Bar is the premium option, up to 900 kg on the 20 kg bar and 680 kg on the 15 kg bar.
  • Aesthetics improve up the range with upgraded finishes for a more premium look.

Home gyms: 2.0. Affordable, durable, and ideal for general training.

Commercial gyms: 2.1. Built for heavier use and higher loads.

Performance or aesthetic focused setups: 2.2. Top tier strength with a distinctive finish.

Kettlebells

They indicate the weight of each kettlebell for quick identification.

This depends on your strength and experience. Most people start between 8 kg and 16 kg.

One is enough to start. A single kettlebell is highly versatile and can train the full body.

Sandbags

Shipping filled sandbags is costly, and it is more economical to fill them yourself.

We recommend purchasing sand from any hardware store, for example Builders Warehouse, or a local sand supplier.

Place the bag on a scale, open it, and pour sand until you reach the desired weight. Distribute the fill evenly before sealing.

Grips

Personal preference. No hole grips are becoming more popular for ease of use and comfort.

It comes down to skill level and budget.

Starting out: REBEL Speed or Spyda Grips are affordable and effective.

More advanced: Bear KompleX offers enhanced grip, comfort, and durability for higher volume training.

Spyda Grips: 3 hole design for traditional coverage.

Speed Grips: No hole design for quick transitions and adaptability.

REBEL Airbikes

Both provide a full body conditioning workout.

Hurricane is built for commercial gym environments and frequent, heavy use.

Cyclone suits both home and gym settings.

Neither makes you work harder than the other. The resistance comes from your effort.

Both airbikes support up to 120kg.

Often difficulties processing card payments are owing to 3D-Secure (MasterCard’s product is called “SecureCode” and Visa’s product is called “Verified by Visa”). It is an added layer of security to ensure that all online card transitions in South Africa are safe and secure. It is is mandated by the Card Associations and managed by South African banks.

With 3D Secure, your online credit and debit card payment is redirected to your bank’s 3D Secure service (on your bank’s website) to facilitate the authentication process for your online payment. Authentication is done using One Time Pins (OTPs) sent to your mobile phone.

If you are having this problem, it is most likely because your card is not registered, and you will need to contact your bank to register your card.

You are required to register your card for MasterCard’s SecureCode with your respective bank. Almost all South African cards are preregistered for 3D Secure by your bank, regardless if they have been used online before. Only corporate cards that use static passwords still require the cardholder to activate, but this is determined by the bank during the transaction.

If, for some reason, your card is not registered, 3D Secure will prompt you to activate it during the transaction. You can activate your cards through your online banking profile or simply call your bank directly to help you.

The quickest way to get a price on delivery is to select the product(s) you want and add them your cart. Then select to have the goods delivered to you at Check Out. Input your delivery address and the street/postal code and our website will accurately and immediately calculate the shipping costs (based on total order shipping weight and exact delivery location) and it will add it to the total cost for your order.
